PYP | Cat 2 | Your Exhibition
Course Description
This Category 2 workshop engages experienced PYP teachers, coordinators, and school leaders in exploring the varied purposes and practices of the PYP Exhibition. Participants will develop a deep understanding of student agency, inquiry, and action as students take ownership of this culminating learning experience. Through collaborative design and reflection, educators will explore and create tools and strategies to optimize the Exhibition process—fostering critical thinking, communication, and community engagement around significant real‑world issues. The workshop strengthens connections between programme frameworks and classroom practice, including assessment of student-led inquiry and its impact.
Learning Outcome
Analyse the purpose, structure, and scope of the PYP Exhibition as a student‑led culminating project.
Design age-appropriate strategies and assessment tools that support student agency, inquiry focus, and reflective action.
Support students in navigating transdisciplinary inquiry, including developing central ideas, lines of inquiry, and ethical action
Facilitate collaborative planning and community involvement, enhancing student voice and engagement throughout the Exhibition process.
Align Exhibition practices with PYP frameworks and standards, including assessment criteria and learner profile development.
