CP | Cat 1 | Reflective project

Course Description

This workshop provides a holistic and practical view of the delivery of the reflective project. The workshop will provide an in-depth look at the IB mission and philosophy reflected in the CP as a programme of international education as well as the context of the reflective project in relation to the CP Core and CP as a whole.

Learning Outcome

  1. Explore the student’s learning journey, the skills and processes required to successfully complete the reflective project and criteria-based assessment of the reflective project, with specific consideration of the other aspects of the reflective project that are included as part of the summative and formative assessment of the work

  2. Approaches to reflective project supervision, optional formats, assessment and delivery will be shared.

Target Audience

Teachers of the career-related aspect of the Career-related Programme (CP) from schools which have taken the decision to apply for or offer the CP, new or recently appointed CP coordinators, RP coordinators or reflective project supervisors from IB World Schools

Course Includes

Eva Haddad is a passionate educator with over 20 years of experience in education. She currently serves as an IB Career-related Programme (CP) Coordinator and is an active member of the International Baccalaureate Educator Network (IBEN). Her IBEN roles include Workshop Leader, School Visit Team Member, Reader, and Reflective Project Examiner. Throughout her career, Eva has worked across the IB continuum, supporting schools and educators in curriculum implementation, assessment, and quality assurance. She is particularly passionate about student-centered learning, assessment for learning, and preparing students for future pathways through the CP. Eva brings enthusiasm, collaboration, and a deep commitment to helping learners and educators reach their full potential through creativity, reflection, and teamwork.
