Course Description
This workshop is designed for participants who are keen to improve the teaching and learning experience in the DP classroom.
Learning Outcome
- Explore IB Programme standards and practices to guide subject delivery and strengthen links with the DP Core (TOK, CAS, and EE).
- Develop collaborative planning strategies, deepen understanding of the Extended Essay (including World Studies), and clarify the supervisor’s role.
- Connect subject content with Approaches to Teaching and Learning (ATL), the learner profile, and international-mindedness while designing inquiry-based lessons.
- Create strategies that foster self-regulated, metacognitive learners and design formative experiences that build conceptual, procedural, and factual understanding.
- Address assessment challenges, apply common criteria accurately, analyze subject reports, and support effective monitoring and reporting of student progress.
- Engage with IB resources and professional learning communities, promote academic integrity, and reflect on the teacher’s role in programme evaluation and whole-school planning.

Diploma Programme (DP) coordinators of Creativity, activity, service (CAS).
