Learning Outcomes
This workshop will enable participants to:
Understand the IB organization, its mission, learner profile, continuum, and international dimension.
Apply IB standards and practices to plan and deliver effective DP/CP teaching and learning.
Design inquiry-based lessons, course outlines, and assessments aligned with curriculum requirements.
Develop strategies that foster self-regulated, metacognitive, and internationally minded learners.
Engage with IB resources, promote academic integrity, participate in professional learning communities, and reflect on programme evaluation and school-wide planning.
Target Audience
This workshop is intended for Diploma Programme (DP) subject-group teachers at established IB World Schools, as well as educators from interested or candidate schools preparing for authorization. It is suitable for teachers who are new to the DP as well as those who have experience teaching DP subjects and have prepared students for at least one examination session in their specific subject area. Educators should enroll in a workshop that corresponds to their experience level in their particular subject area.
