Course Description

Culturally responsive practices center on students’ unique cultural strengths to enhance achievement and well-being. In this course, you’ll explore what makes students and families unique, with a focus on Qatari culture, including family structures, traditions, and beliefs. Through asynchronous modules, you will deepen your understanding of cultural frameworks, assess personal biases, and examine the research behind implementing culturally responsive teaching.

  1. Analyze how cultural values, familial structures, and traditions, including those specific to Qatari society shape student behavior, engagement, and academic success.
