Course Description
This workshop focuses on enhancing the role of practical work within the IB Diploma Programme Chemistry course. Participants will learn how to design a balanced and purposeful scheme of work that incorporates practical investigations aligned with the internal assessment criteria. The workshop provides guided analysis of student samples to deepen understanding of assessment expectations and moderation procedures. Educators will explore strategies to scaffold student learning and inquiry to better prepare them for the internal assessment process. This workshop is ideal for both new and experienced DP Chemistry teachers.
