Course Description
This interactive workshop highlights the critical role of the Behavior Support Officer within a team-teaching framework to provide integrated behavioral and educational support. Participants will explore collaborative strategies for working alongside classroom teachers, support staff, and specialists to create inclusive environments that address students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Through case studies, role-playing, and reflective discussions, educators and Behavior Support Officers will learn how to co-plan, implement, and evaluate targeted interventions that promote positive behavior and enhance student engagement. The session emphasizes building strong partnerships that foster a cohesive, school-wide approach to behavioral support.
