Understand AI, explore ethical use in education and develop pedagogical knowledge around AI.What is artificial intelligence (AI) and how can educators ethically utilize it for teaching, learning, and assessment? AI systems and tools are rapidly being deployed in schools. AI offers many potential benefits for teachers and students but also comes with the potential for harm or unintended consequences.

Learning Outcome

Develop an understanding of what AI is and is not.
Develop an inquiry into the role of humans in AI systems and the ethics of AI in education.
Develop pedagogical knowledge around AI in teaching, learning, and assessment.

Target Audience

This workshop is recommended for all classroom educators who wish to learn about artificial intelligence (AI) in K-12 education. Previous experience with artificial intelligence (AI) in education is not required.

لما كلش هي تربوية لبنانية تتمتع بأكثر من 30 عاماً من الخبرة الدولية في مجال التعليم في الطفولة المبكرة والمرحلة الابتدائية والقيادة التعليمية. تحمل شهادة بكالوريوس في تعليم الطفولة المبكرة ودبلوم في تعليم اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية (TEFL) من الجامعة اللبنانية الأميركية، وماجستير في الدراسات متعددة التخصصات من جامعة بوفالو ستيت في نيويورك، ودبلوم معتمد في القيادة الدولية من مجلس المدارس الدولية الأوروبية (ECIS) في المملكة المتحدة. لما هي مستشارة ثنائية اللغة في برنامج البكالوريا الدولية (PYP)، وزائرة مدارس، وميسّرة ورش عمل، وقائدة برامج ومقيمة، ومدربة معتمدة في التعلم القائم على المفاهيم. تشغل حالياً منصب نائب مديرة المرحلة الابتدائية في أكاديمية قطر مشيرب، حيث تواصل التزامها بتعزيز التعلم مدى الحياة والتميّز التعليمي.
