DP | Cat 3 | Biology: A focus on the experimental programme
Course Description
The workshop is suitable for experienced teachers who wish to improve their delivery of the experimental programme and understanding of the moderation of the internal assessment. The experimental programme is a vital element of the DP biology course.
This workshop supports participants in the development of a broad and structured experimental programme that provides opportunities for students to develop the necessary skills for success in the full range of possible types of scientific investigation.
Learning Outcome
“By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to examine various student samples of the scientific investigation to develop a clear understanding of the application of the internal assessment criteria.

Recommended for: Experienced IB biology teachers who have completed category 1 and 2 biology workshops.
